As with the Cat & Fishes tapestry crochet bag, this Drawstring Tapestry Crochet Bag is also a one-time, one of a kind design. A large bag suitable for daily use, for packing some gear for a weekend away, or for the hopeful shopping trips.

This Drawstring Tapestry Crochet Bag is also a one-time, one of a kind design. This bag is crocheted with the super-intriguing Miracle Beads, aka Magic Beads. The 'magic' of these beads is that they will glow under natural light. So at the most unexpected, delightful occasion, your bag will seem to burst forth with an inner glow. Furthermore, they have the mesmerising illusion of a bead within a bead. This 'magic' has to be seen to fully appreciated.

This crochet hanging storage bag is one of many I have done. But this is the first one that includes feature to close the bag’s opening (requested). The crochet bag is also influenced by Marimekko design (again requested by the friend). I have designed the hanging loop in such a way that it can be hung up in multiple ways. Details below …

Mandala Rug made in overlay crochet. Worked in extra thick yarns (at least requiring 7mm crochet hook) to give both bulk and cushiness. Fairly large – measuring 77cm in diameter.

This "Cat & Fishes" is one of my first tapestry crochet bag. This is a one-off, no repeat design. I drew and graphed the pattern, pulling from a number of sources of inspiration (see below). Unlike other tapestry crochet and also unlike Wayuu bags, this tapestry bag is done in the extremely strong and dense knit-sc stitch which produces the intriguing stockinette-looking stitch. I have included lots of metal bag hardware - coz' they always look so good on a bag, don't they?!!
