This Crescent Moon Shawl was made in early 2018; I think around the time when I first came across this lovely shawl shaping. It is so fun to make and so versatile and delicious to wear that I have made quite a few over the years. With many a long year in-between I must admit.

This was gifted to a friend (JK) and I hope she liked. Never heard back. It was made with really lovely, expensive yarns. And I made each of the many pearl dangles by hand ... and crocheted them directly into the fringed trimming.

Behind the Scenes..
Some of the delicious, luxurious yarns used. Very soft and very warm.
Some of the crochet diagrams I based my work on. (from Pinterest)
Just chained the requisite number of stitches to start. This is definitely before I started using my now preferred MM Cast-on method to begin almost all my crochet work.
Each of fresh water pearls were individually wire-wrapped and then crocheted in with the triangular trimming.
Close up oh the dangles, crocheted into the trimming.
