Because I only do Tunisian crochet non-regularly, I tend to forget some of the terminology and abbreviations.
This page serves more as a reminder for me and others like me. It is not a full fledged tutorial.
Tunisian Abbreviations
- fwPass - forward pass
- rtnPass - return pass
- Trs * - Tunisian reverse stitch (Insert hook in back vertical bar, yo, pull up a loop.) --{Used in Tunisian Waffle Stitch}
NB. DOEST NOT CURL ✅ - tss - Tunisian Simple Stitch
- fpdc - Front Post Double Crochet
- XLfpdc * - Extra Long Front Post dc (yarn over, insert hook under the front and back vertical bars of the stitch 3 rows down, yarn over, pull up a loop, chain 1, yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook)
- bpdc - Back Post dc
- Lts - Last Tunisian Stitch
- Tslst * - Tunisian Slip Stitch (Bring up a loop in the back vertical bar, pull through loop on hook as for slip stitch)
